When Marie Curie was young and wanted to study, she wasn’t allowed to because she was a woman. Later, however, her scientific discoveries were respected all over the world. Marie became the first woman to earn a doctorate in the sciences and the first female professor at the University of Paris. On top of that, she was also the first person in history to win the Nobel Prize twice. Marie is regarded as the most inspiring woman in modern science.
