Receiving a birth plate or a sampler is a centuries-old tradition in the Netherlands. My dear grandmother was highly skilled in embroidery and created the most beautiful samplers for all her grandchildren. Her samplers still hang in my childhood home. I have happily used this gift-giving tradition as inspiration. The result is a collection of unique birth gifts. Made with love, just as my grandmother always did."

The newborn gift collection consists of hand-painted birth plates and embroidered birth posters, each of which can be personalized. Everything I love illustrations, ceramics, and textiles comes together in this collection. I work with these techniques daily, and I am incredibly proud to have united them in this collection.

It has become an ode to craftsmanship, creativity, and pure love a lasting keepsake of a new beginning.
